Preventing car break-ins :

After the recent rise in car break-ins and gun thefts from automobiles, we thought it was a good time to highlight a few things we can all do to help the police reduce break-ins.

1.          Hide or remove valuables

2.         Lock your car; roll up windows

3.         Report street and parking lot lights out immediately (311 app)

4.         Report suspicious behavior

5.         Report break-ins immediately

Speak to your employees and neighbors, if not customers, about vehicle safety-- the signs in the neighborhood are not huge motivators of behavior, but your awareness and influence is.
